2020 Recap & South America Highlights

(Scroll down if you just want to see the video!)

So 2020 was quite an odd year, I think we can all agree on that. However, even tho I couldn´t do what I initially planned and had to stop the journey through South America, I was given quite a number of opportunities this year.

Not only did I get to see my friends again whom I of course missed at times while I was away, but I also could spend some quality time with my family at home. Furthermore, I´ve spent a few weeks in Sweden with my dad - something I knew would make him really happy as I just couldn´t do it when I was still working.

Then, there were things I wanted to do for myself, and having leap time from my leap year was just the perfect moment to do so: first and foremost, a very important thing to do was to visit the city my brother lived in while he was away, something that really made me feel close to him.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

To get my photography and videography game to another level I took up 2 training courses that would help me exactly that, and on top of that I even got the chance to produce a music video - who would have thought that when I boarded the plane in Lima earlier this year?!

I´m really happy to now have a few new skills, so during the last week I sat down to polish the auld photos and videos from South America into a 2020 highlight reel from my journey so far. If you are a returning visitor to my blog you might know most of them already, but I promise the have some new effects on them!

So yea, 2020 didn´t go to plan exactly but hey - it´s been still a quite good year for me, and I´m lucky to still be in the position to go back travelling as soon as it´ll be possible again! Hopefully you can look at it as I do, and if not I still hope that after reading this you can take something positive out of it for yourself - even if you year might have been more of a shitshow. I´ll keep my fingers crossed for you!
